Fake players, often referred to as "ghost players" or "spoofers," are artificial connections injected into a FiveM server. They manipulate the server's master list data to display a higher player count than what actually exists in the game world.

, also known as bots or spoofed player counts, are artificially created user accounts or automated scripts programmed to simulate real users on a FiveM server. Unlike legitimate players, fake players offer no real engagement or interaction, but they inflate player counts to make a server appear more active and popular than it actually is.

By default, many players filter the FiveM server list by population. Higher player counts push a server to the top of the list, granting it massive organic visibility. Psychological Validation
