If you edit a map but don't correct the checksum, the ECU will detect corruption and throw a "Checksum Error," bricking the car or putting it into limp mode. WinOLS 4.7 includes an automated checksum plugin that instantly recalculates and fixes all necessary checksums after every edit. Without this feature, tuning would be impossible.
