Each Jaeger possesses a distinct national identity and fighting style. Gipsy Danger, the American Mark-3, is a classic, boxy brawler with a nuclear vortex reactor on its chest. Striker Eureka, the Australian Mark-5, is sleek, fast, and agile. The Russian Jaeger, Cherno Alpha, is a slow, heavily armored, diesel-punk battering ram, while Crimson Typhoon, the Chinese Jaeger, features a unique three-armed design for devastating triple-strike combos. On the other side, the Kaiju are biological weapons of mass destruction. Each is a terrifyingly distinct life form, bio-engineered by their alien creators for a specific purpose, from the brute-force battering ram "Knifehead" to the EMP-emitting "Leatherback" and the flying "Otachi".
