If you purchased the game through GOG, the location is almost always the local save path, even if you are using GOG Galaxy. However, GOG cloud saves may be stored in a different directory, so disabling cloud saving often forces the game to use the default local path for easier access: The loot filter sucks

Hardcore saves are isolated ( save/hardcore/ ). Sharing here is trickier because of the permanent death flag.
