Am ḥasibta anna aṣḥāba al-kahfi wa al-raqīmi kānū min āyātinā 'ajabā.
فَلَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ إِن لَّمْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِهَٰذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَسَفًا surah kahf 6-10
: Recognise that worldly beauty is a temporary test. Am ḥasibta anna aṣḥāba al-kahfi wa al-raqīmi kānū
Everything on earth—wealth, nature, technology, relationships, and status—is described as zeenah (adornment). An adornment is superficial; it is meant to beautify an object but is not the object itself. The physical world is designed to be attractive to serve as a testing ground. 2.
