Xentry Ignition Enabler ❲ULTIMATE❳
: Xentry often requires a "Key Cycle" (turning the ignition off then back on) to finalize the clearing of stored error codes. Without the enabler, the software may hang because it doesn't "see" the ignition being turned off.
Constant 12V power from the battery.
A common failure point in older Mercedes-Benz models (such as the W204, W212, and W164) is a failing EIS or Electronic Steering Lock (ESL). When these components fail, turning the physical key does nothing—the dashboard remains blank and Terminal 15 stays dead. An ignition enabler allows the technician to pull diagnostic data from the vehicle to confirm whether the EIS is truly dead or if the issue lies within the wiring harness.
